Twitch explodes at mega-event in Fortnite - but mixer star Ninja cocks

A week ago, the black hole event took place in Fortnite. That generated huge views on YouTube and Twitch. But Fortnite's longtime top streamer, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, wasn't on show at Mixer. What was going on?

Why did Twitch explode? Sunday a week ago, on October 13th, an event took place at Fortnite. This had been announced for a long time and a countdown was ticking down.

What no one knew at the time: The event became much bigger than expected and made headlines around the world.

Because Epic landed a special PR coup: The event imploded the previous world of Fortnite and sucked it through a black hole.

For about a day and a half, no one could play Fortnite.

The actual event caused a huge crowd on Twitch and YouTube. A total of 6 million people are said to have watched on the channels. Because people had no idea what was going on and wanted to discuss it.

Ninja was in private jet to a football game

What about Ninja? Tyler "Ninja" Blevins used to have the crowds in his channel in such situations. At the butterfly event in November 2018, Ninja saw 350,000 people on Twitch.

But this time everything was dead. Ninja did not stream the event to Mixer.

Ninja told his fans that he would have preferred to fly to a football game with his in-laws and his wife's brother. He had access to the field. A private jet flew them there.

That was probably more important to him at that moment. The game took place on Monday night and Sunday was for Ninja Travel Day. Ninja was born in Detroit and is clearly a fan of the Detroit Lions, while his wife's family appears to be staying at Green Bay.

In the end, Ninja was terribly upset about the football game. The Green Bay Packers won 23-22.

Ninja accused the referees of whistling at his team. In protest, Ninja announced that he would never go to a game again.
